I have been working with Bassets as a full time landlady since 2007.
Almost all of my current tenants have been found by Bassets and of late I have not bothered to approach any other letting agents at all.
I have attempted to work with several, but Bassets are heads and shoulders above the rest.
I feel like they are almost friends, but I know their professionalism is impeccable and I know they will never deceive me or try to manipulate me.
I can`t say that of all agents at all.
Their original founder, David Clayton, has sadly now retired. He was a man of impeccable integrity, but the management of Bassets and the entire team have held onto his ethos very firmly and working with them is always a pleasure.

My husband and I were really desperate to find a new place to move for we are expecting the delivery of our little one very soon. We have viewed and applied in a lot of properties for the past 4 months but due to the increase number of people looking in the market and as desperate as we are, we weren’t lucky. We viewed a number of properties with Siobhan before and she’s very professional in dealing with all of our applications but again at the end of the day the decision for acceptance is in the hands of the landlords.

I received a phone call early morning one day from Siobhan. She asked me if I’m still good for viewing another property. I can’t remember I have booked a viewing for that day and she said I must have forgotten about it as it has been booked 4 weeks ago. As it was a long time ago, we really thought the property was long been taken. Anyway, went to view the property, submitted the application, and luckily we received the most awaited YES from the landlord just an hour after I viewed the property. I know Siobhan really has tried her best to help us given our situation and she even guided us and helped us with the negotiations. She’s very approachable, replies promptly, and she even took the extra mile in negotiations just to help us get the moving date sooner than planned by the landlord. Your approach is very different to many of the other letting agents out there.

Having an ‘all included’ and ‘no hidden fees’ policy is great, and the prompt payment into my bank account of the first month’s rent was much appreciated.
